Beauford T. Anderson Campground

The Soldiers Grove Beauford T. Anderson Campground is nessled in the heart of Soldiers Grove. We offer 35 electric and water camp sites, a dump station.

Tents can be set up anywhere in the park.

Camping is first come first serve, we do not take reservations. 

Camping passes can be purchased at the Village Office Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or at Campbell's One Stop(Mobil).

We now offer WIFI to all campers. 

There are men's and women's bathrooms with showers available to campers. 

Electric sites: $25.00, Non-electric sites: $23.00, and tents: $12.00

Chapter 82. Camping

Article I. Beauford T. Anderson Park

§ 82-1. General provisions.

A. 
Camping is prohibited except within designated camping areas.
B. 
No person may camp in designated camping areas without a permit and the payment of prescribed daily fees where required.
C. 
A camping permit shall be obtained prior to setting up camp, unless otherwise posted.
D. 
No camping party may move from its assigned campsite to another campsite without prior approval from the park office.
E. 
All camping permits expire at 3:00 p.m. on the last day of the permit period.
F. 
No camping party may start setting up or taking down its camping unit between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and the following 6:00 a.m
G. 
Violation of any state law, county ordinance or any rules of the department by a member or guest of a member of a camping party is cause for revocation of the camping permit and eviction from the property.
H. 
No person may use family campground shower facilities in any county park unless that person is a registered camper.
I.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. During quiet hours, no camping party shall set up or take down its camping unit. Further, during quiet hours all campers should be respectful of other campers and are prohibited from making excessive noise. Only registered campers are allowed on the campsite during quiet hours.
 

§ 82-2. Family camping.

A. 
No more than one camping party may occupy a single campsite. No camping party consisting of a non-family group may exceed six persons.
B. 
No person may camp, and no camping unit shall remain for a period greater than seven days in any fourteen day period in the property of registration. After seven days, the camping unit and camping party shall be removed from the property for at least seven days before being eligible to return.
C. 
No person may park any motor vehicle outside the parking area designated at each campsite. No person may park more than two motor vehicles in the parking area of any campsite, except that as many as six motorcycles are permitted for members of a camping party registered as a non-family group.
D. 
No more than one recreation trailer, pickup truck camper or motor home may occupy a campsite. Pickup campers or motor homes pulling a trailer shall be treated as a single unit.
 

§ 82-3. Trespassing.

Any person remaining in possession of a campsite without a permit, after the expiration of a permit or after eviction shall be deemed to be trespassing in the camping area. Signs shall be posted informing persons of the provisions of this section.
 

§ 82-4. Violations and penalties.

Any person who fails to comply with the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit not more than $200 and costs of prosecution for each violation and in default of payment of such forfeiture and costs, shall be imprisoned in the County Jail until payment thereof, but not exceeding 30 days.

§ 82-5. Additional regulations; definitions.

A. 
As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CAMPING UNIT
Has the meaning set forth in Wisconsin Administrative Code Section ATCP 79.03(6) and shall include a "camping trailer" as defined in § 340.01(6m), Wis. Stats., "recreational mobile homes" as defined in § 340.01(48r), Wis. Stats., and "recreational motor home" as defined in § 70.112(5), Wis. Stats., and as those sections are subsequently amended.
PERMANENT OCCUPANCY
Occupying or using a camping unit for three months or more in any twelve-month period.
B. 
No person shall use a camping unit for permanent occupancy within any Village campground. No permit for use of the Village campground will be issued in violation of this section.
C. 
If a camper fails to remove a camping unit as required by ordinance, the Village has the right to remove the camping unit. The Village will attempt, before removing the camping unit, to notify the camper and provide the camper with five days to remove the camping unit. If the Village removes the camping unit, it will place the camping unit in storage, but is not responsible for the condition of the camping unit. The Village is not responsible for damage to the camping unit caused by its removal from the campground. The camper shall pay the Village's expenses to remove the unit, a flat fee of $150 and monthly storage costs of $100.
 

§ 82-6. Charge for nonremoval.

There shall be a charge of $25 per day for nonremoval of a camping unit on or before the date on which the camping unit should be removed, which shall commence on the date of termination and continue until the camping unit is removed from the campground.
